Reputation Ink Named to University of Florida’s 2026 Gator100 List for Third Consecutive Year
List recognizes fastest-growing Gator-owned businesses
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (April 13, 2026) — Reputation Ink, a marketing and public relations agency for B2B professional services firms, has once again been recognized as one of the fastest-growing Gator-led businesses, earning a spot for the third year in a row on the University of Florida’s Gator100 list. The list of 100 fastest-growing companies owned or led by UF alumni is issued annually.
Founded in 2011 by Michelle Calcote King, a dual-degree graduate of the University of Florida’s College of Journalism and Communications, Reputation Ink has grown its services and footprint in recent years, also earning a spot three years in a row on the Jacksonville Business Journal’s fastest-growing companies list and being shortlisted for PRWeek’s Outstanding Boutique Agency of the Year.
With a fully remote team of former journalists, PR professionals, creative designers and digital and marketing strategists across the country, Reputation Ink serves business law firms, architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) firms, financial and asset management firms and other B2B organizations where reputation and authority are central to growth.
King earned her bachelor’s degree in public relations in 1998 and her master’s in international communications in 2000. She received the Outstanding Scholar Award for achieving the highest grade point average of her undergraduate class and was then selected for one of the university’s highly competitive full-tuition graduate assistantships.
The Gator Nation’s influence at Reputation Ink goes even deeper, with Vice President of Client Services Steven Gallo, who is also a proud UF alumnus. Gallo is a former award-winning journalist who earned his undergraduate degree in telecommunications at UF, where he won a national Edward R. Murrow Award and placed twice in the national Hearst Broadcast News Championship. He also played saxophone in the Fightin’ Gator Marching Band and was a member of Florida Blue Key. Gallo earned his master’s degree in mass communications and served as a graduate instructor in the College of Journalism and Communications.
“Being recognized on the Gator100 list for the third consecutive year is both humbling and deeply meaningful to our team,” said King. “This honor reflects not only our growth, but the caliber of the team we’ve built across the country and the trust our clients place in us. As a UF alumna, it’s especially rewarding to see our company’s progress recognized by the university that helped shape my career.”
