September 05, 2018

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (September 05, 2018) — Reputation Ink content marketing manager Steven Gallo will serve as a judge for First Coast News’ upcoming special program, “More to the Story.”

The program gives First Coast News journalists an opportunity to tell the story behind their stories, detailing how they were produced and their significance.

“Having a story featured in this special is an honor and something our multimedia journalists will strive for throughout the year,” said First Coast News anchor Heather Crawford. “The one-hour program will showcase the best of the best stories from our news team.”

Gallo and the panel of judges have reviewed more than two hours worth of entries for “More to the Story,” rating each for creativity, content, execution and visual aids.

“Steven is a talented storyteller, so it’s no surprise he was tapped to judge this special,” said Michelle Calcote King, principal and president of Reputation Ink. “From blog posts, to magazine articles to video stories, Steven knows how to ask the right questions, dig deep to understand the issues and develop effective, impactful stories for our clients. He will be an excellent judge.”

The biannual special will air on September 21 at 7 p.m. on WJXX (ABC 25).

Gallo’s accolades and experience range across the television and radio news spectrum. Before joining the Reputation Ink team, he was an on-air reporter for WTOC-TV, graduate instructor at the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications, and an anchor/reporter for north-central Florida’s PBS and NPR stations.
