Reputation Ink Principal to Speak at Society for Marketing Professional Services Southern Regional Conference

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Dec. 1, 2022) — Michelle Calcote King, the Principal & President of Reputation Ink, a B2B public relations and content marketing agency serving professional services firms, will speak at the Society for Marketing Professional Services’ (SMPS) Southern Region Conference (SRC), January 18-20, 2023, in New Orleans.

SMPS is the professional association for marketing and business development professionals in architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) firms. Its 57 chapters represent 3,250 design and building firms across the United States and Canada.

SMPS SRC brings seven chapters together, including Austin, Houston, North Texas, Oklahoma, San Antonio and Southeast Louisiana. This year’s conference theme, Find Your Vibe, will see AEC marketers finding their vibe with the industry’s best marketers, vendors and speakers all under one roof.

King’s session, “Vibing with Thought Leadership: Content Programs that Generate Revenue,” will show attendees how they can develop a content platform for their AEC firms that generates revenue. In addition, King will cover:

• How AEC marketers can convince their firm’s leadership of the value of thought leadership and content marketing, with specific research study references
• How to extract insights from subject-matter experts effectively to power a firm’s content program
• How to track the return on investment of thought leadership/content marketing
• How to use marketing automation platforms like HubSpot to convert web visitors into leads and nurture them throughout the buying process

King has spoken at the last three SMPS Southeastern Regional Conferences (SERC) and served as a juror for the 2022 SMPS Marketing Communications Awards (MCA).
