Reputation Ink Welcomes Veteran Storyteller Justin Biegel as Account Director

Reputation Ink has hired Justin Biegel as an account director. A seasoned communications strategist and former journalist, Biegel brings more than a decade of experience spanning newsrooms, agencies and in-house communications teams. Throughout his career, he has helped organizations transform complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives that build credibility, spark engagement and drive business growth.
“Justin brings a wealth of experience across communications, marketing, public relations and client strategy,” said Michelle Calcote King, Reputation Ink’s principal and president. “He knows how to uncover the stories that matter and turn expertise into meaningful conversations that resonate with audiences. His strategic mindset, editorial instincts and collaborative approach make him a tremendous addition to both our clients and our team.”
At Reputation Ink, Biegel will support clients across the agency’s architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) practice, leading integrated communications initiatives that elevate brand visibility, strengthen thought leadership and support business development goals.
“I’m grateful to Michelle and the entire Reputation Ink team for the opportunity to join such a talented group of professionals,” said Biegel. “This agency has built a strong reputation helping professional services firms stand out in competitive industries, and I’m excited to hit the ground running.”
Biegel joins Reputation Ink from SAS Institute, a global leader in data and AI software, where he led communications initiatives supporting U.S. and global public sector efforts. His work focused on narrative and content strategy across government, law enforcement and national security sectors, helping position complex technology solutions in ways that connected with decision-makers and stakeholders.
Prior to SAS, Biegel managed integrated PR and marketing campaigns at the Tidehouse Agency, partnering with nonprofit organizations, franchise development brands and growing businesses to increase visibility, strengthen media presence and support strategic growth initiatives both domestically and abroad.
Biegel began his career in journalism as a news anchor and reporter, earning recognition from organizations including the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ), the Radio Television Digital News Association of the Carolinas (RTDNAC) and the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. His television news background sharpened his ability to work under pressure, ask thoughtful questions and craft stories that resonate across platforms and audiences.
Biegel earned a degree in mass communications and journalism from Elon University and resides in Charleston, South Carolina, with his dog, Bosch.
