Reputation Ink adds award-winning television journalist to team

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Content marketing, lead generation and PR firm Reputation Ink has hired Steven Gallo as an account coordinator. He joined the agency in September.

Gallo’s writing and communications experience spans the media spectrum, including award-winning work for television, radio, and digital platforms. Most recently, he worked as an on-air reporter at WTOC-TV, the CBS affiliate and top-rated station in Savannah, Georgia. As a member of the station’s night-side and investigative teams, he covered a range of topics including local government, community features and breaking news across southeast Georgia.

Prior to his stint in Savannah, Gallo taught at the University of Florida as a graduate instructor in the College of Journalism and Communications while working toward his master’s degree. He also earned a bachelor’s degree in telecommunication from UF, specializing in broadcast and digital news. While an undergrad, he worked as an anchor and reporter for north-central Florida’s PBS and NPR stations.

Gallo has been honored with a national Edward R. Murrow Award, and he is a two-time award-winner in the national Hearst Broadcast News Championship. He was also recognized with the 2013 Rae O. Weimer Award, the highest honor in the UF College of Journalism and Communications.
