Reputation Ink Expands AEC and Legal Teams with New Senior Account Coordinator
Reputation Ink has expanded its roster with a new hire. Megan Carthel joins the Rep Ink team as a senior account coordinator, supporting the agency’s architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) and legal teams.
Carthel brings a decade of communications experience to Reputation Ink. Her background spans franchise development, consumer PR and TV news, where she covered everything from politics and environmental issues to character-driven features. That range has shaped her into a versatile, fluid writer. As a PR professional, she has secured top-tier media coverage and generated millions of impressions for clients.
“Megan understands what makes people pay attention to a story, and she has the judgment to know when to push an idea further and when to take it in a different direction,” said Michelle Calcote King, Reputation Ink’s principal and president.
“Her creative thinking and ability to build strong relationships make her effective with both clients and reporters. She brings that same positive, collaborative approach to our team.”
A two-time Emmy Award nominee for news writing and feature reporting, Carthel has also contributed to award-winning PR campaigns and is the author of a self-published children’s book, “The Silver Lining.”
“I’ve always been drawn to stories that are complex and challenge my creativity,” Carthel said. “Joining Reputation Ink feels like the perfect next step. I’m looking forward to working alongside such a talented team and bringing my background in storytelling and media relations to our AEC and legal clients.”
Carthel earned a Bachelor of Science in electronic media and a minor in political science from Texas State University’s College of Communications.
