Reputation Ink has expanded its team with the addition of Elizabeth Mortek as account director, Tommy Franz as account manager, and Allyson Piantanida as senior account coordinator.
The three bring deep experience in communications, journalism and integrated content strategy, further strengthening the agency’s ability to help clients turn expertise into visibility and growth.
Elizabeth (Liz) Mortek Joins as Account Director
Mortek brings more than 15 years of experience leading communications strategy, media relations and content development for brands in healthcare, B2B and nonprofit sectors. Her work has earned national media coverage in outlets including The Wall Street Journal, STAT, CNBC, Bloomberg and Forbes. Prior to joining Reputation Ink, she served as associate director of engagement at Inprela Communications, leading national media and thought-leadership programs for organizations such as 3M, Stryker, Daikin and Children’s Cancer Research Fund.
“Liz is a strategic communicator who understands how to translate complex ideas into stories that engage and persuade,” said Michelle Calcote King, principal and president of Reputation Ink. “Her depth of experience and leadership will be a tremendous asset to both our clients and our team.”
Thomas (Tommy) Franz Joins as Account Manager
Franz joins Reputation Ink following a five-year career at an Am Law 200 firm in Detroit, where he oversaw digital content and editorial production for nearly 800 attorneys. His background also includes years as a journalist, reporting on legal trends, government, business and community issues across Michigan. At Michigan Lawyers Weekly, he covered statewide legal developments as digital editor.
“Tommy’s in-house law firm experience is unique to our team and will provide a fresh perspective on what our clients are experiencing,” King said. “We’re excited to add his insights to our legal and professional-services work.”
Allyson Piantanida Joins as Senior Account Coordinator
Piantanida brings a strong background in PR, journalism and media production.
