A veteran, award-winning communications professional, Justin is a seasoned storyteller and strategist whose work has connected clients with audiences all over the world.

Justin’s career spans over 10 years across local newsrooms, agencies and in-house teams. He most recently served as a brand marketing and content strategy lead at the SAS Institute — a global software, data and AI company. There, Justin spearheaded both U.S. and global public sector initiatives, focusing on law enforcement, government, counterterrorism and national defense — helping generate $30 million in pipeline in 2025.

Justin also managed large-scale business-to-business and business-to-consumer PR and marketing programs at the Tidehouse Agency. He partnered with nonprofits, global franchises and Fortune 500 enterprises, securing media coverage and guiding brands to elevate their reputation and visibility.

Justin’s career began in journalism. As an Emmy Award-winning news/sports anchor and reporter, he learned to work quickly, ask the right questions and tell stories that resonate. That experience still shapes how Justin approaches content today — grounded in clarity, credibility and audience-first thinking. He has fond memories of covering major college football games and Category 3 hurricanes — just ask!

As one of his mentors famously said, “You never do work for awards, but do award-winning work.” Justin has carried that advice throughout his career. Whether he can help it or not, Justin is a stickler for proper grammar and firmly opposes the use of the Oxford comma (sorry, not sorry!).

The Man Behind the Mic

When Justin isn’t working, he keeps himself busy. On weekends, you can catch him on the golf course, walking his dog, Bosch, or on a boat in Charleston, SC. He also serves as the voice of Charleston Southern athletics, acting as the play-by-play announcer for Buccaneer football, women’s soccer and women’s basketball — in addition to public address and sideline reporting duties.
